4/21/2016 0 Comments 4/12/2016On the 12th of April we split into our specific groups and worked on dealing and the questions we will be asked on exhibition.
4/21/2016 0 Comments 4/11/2016Only two days till exhibition and it's crunch time. We spent the whole hour quizzing group members on payouts, shuffling and everything we need to be ready for exhibition.
4/8/2016 0 Comments 4/8/2016Today we practiced Royal Flush, a game with cards and a ten sided die.
4/6/2016 0 Comments 4/6/2016Today we split into our dealing groups to prepare for our specific group for the casino night. Gincarlo practiced Black Jack, Lily and Caitlyn practiced Roulette.
4/5/2016 0 Comments 4/5/2016Today we volunteered for the game we wanted to deal for. Since we had a long break we decided to go over all of the games and regulations as a refresher. We took turns dealing and giving bets, and we recorded the wins and loses.
3/17/2016 0 Comments 3/16/2016On the 16th of March we were given an original game called Royal Chance and we had to revise the game to where it was functional. The game already had basic rules, but the house wasn't winning in the long haul, it just kept losing money. We played a few hands with the original rules and then we saw what we had to revise most of the rules. What we mainly did was just add more rules so it ups the chance of losing for the player. It was hard to keep track of who bet high or low, but Caitlin kept track of the wins and loses of the house on a google document.
3/15/2016 0 Comments 3/14/16On the 14th of march we played face-off, a game created by the other pod. We took turns dealing so we could all try to be a dealer
3/10/2016 0 Comments 3/10/2016Today we mainly focused on the brainstorming worksheet of 'Casino Night Exhibition Protocol', where Caitlyn scribed and facilitated all the brainstorming. As a group we brainstormed at least five names, music, clothes, drinks and roles for exhibition night. However, everyone contributed equally to sharing their ideas.
